Erin Knight was a normal girl until one night when a manticore attacks her house. Her best friend Iris Hunt, helps her and takes her to the place safe for people like her. People known as demigods. Camp Olympus trains them, gets all demigods ready to live out in a world filled with monsters. It's located in a place where some of the most dangerous monsters are, the coast of California near San Francisco.
Erin must get ready for the quest ahead of her. Someone has killed the pegasus, and all the blame has fallen on one single demigod, Erin. She takes along Iris and five other demigods, even some who think she did it.
Can Erin and her friends save her, or will she be killed for being innocent?
