It's the year 3307 and the Earth-based rock band Simmonhead Fred has arrived on Farel, the first stop on their yearlong galactic tour. Meanwhile, across the galaxy a successful plan has been hatched to steal a piece of the crown jewels from the monarchy of the planet Brem. The item has special powers known only to the monarchy, or so they think. During a set break while playing a show at The Pit, the band steps out into the alley for a bit of fresh air. While relieving himself at the side of a dumpster, Hals discovers a dead body, who happens to be a respected government official from Brem. The investigation into the theft is elevated to a murder investigation due to a suspicion of their connection. This brings Brem's top inspector to Farel. However, much to the inspector's dismay, he repeatedly runs into dead ends in both areas of the investigation. A few days later, Fred meets a young woman named Ashley during a gig, and he accompanies her back to her apartment. Shortly after two's attention becomes keenly focused on each other, an intruder bursts into the apartment with their plasma pistol blazing. During the melee, Ashley is struck, the intruder is rendered unconscious, and Fred escapes from the apartment unharmed, but with the stolen item in his possession. The next day, the band leaves Farel to continue their galactic tour, but they are unaware that several people are now in pursuit of them.
Season 4 of The Virus Within

When a dangerous set of scientific notes are discovered, Trinity and her friends don't realize anything is wrong until a frantic radio call comes in. Unaware of the notes, they race to the south and struggle to determine where the strange zombies came from. The zombies are unlike any ranks previously seen, and they aren't as predictable. Some have new tricks hidden up sleeves, forcing any Stronghold they encounter to quickly adapt to the new challenge or risk being overrun. Secrets never remain hidden, and zombie apocalypses never make life easy.
