Masked are our emotions,
Masked are our selves,
Yet in the journey of life,
We meet someone else,
A new name, a new face,
perhaps a hand to hold.

This is the story of Adrian and Alyssa.

Alyssa was the bird who needed assurance that she could glide in the blue sky.

Adrian was the clear sky, where she starts to take flight.

However, Ally needed the push from the sky to take the first step to unfold her wings,

Adrian needed a bird to tweet a sweet rhyme even when the sun leaves the sky for the night.

So would you like to join us, in our tale of the bird in her clear sky?

Writing a memoir at only fifteen years old has taught me a lot. Giving me the time to reflect on the lessons I learned the hard way and the mistakes I've made thus far. I learned, if there is at least two sides to every story, there is at least two sides to every person. What could be a smile is a broken heart in a deeper reality. We all live in a society where nothing is as it seems, the people being more complex and astonishing than the countless novels we read. And in a world ruled by tragedies, we are the survivors. Getting through our own history, more important to us then what we read in school. We take our story one page at a time, word by word because in the end, it will all be worth it. I dedicate this memoir to the people who have been with me on my journey of self discovery, even if only in spirit. Mom- Who has made non stop sacrifices to ensure my happiness and well being. Nothing would be possible without you! Grandma- Who has inspired me and made a huge influence to the person I am now and who I'll be in the future. Callie- My own personal slave, illustrator, editor and full time best friend. You know I love you <3 Ariana Grande- My celebrity inspiration, showing me that it's ok to "love who you love, no one can judge, follow your heart and don't give up", getting me through the long and lonely nights. Be sure to buy her new album "Moonlight", hopefully to be released this year and her new fragrance "Ari" in accordance to the "Be You" campaign. Adam Young (Of Owl City)- My first artist I listened to, your songs make me think of the past and the new adventures to come. Sam Tsui- The album "Make it up" taught me to not be scared of not knowing what's going to happen next. Being young and naive Isn't necessarily a bad thing, as it brings way to new experiences, to be vulnerable and crying doesn't make you any less of a person. That we're all human and it's ok to embrace it.

*(COMPLETED) "The worst thing about being lied to is knowing you weren't worth the truth." He bit his lip. "I wanted to te-" His eyes began to water and as a single tear fell he looked at me and said "but what if you've been lying for so long you don't know how to tell the truth?" "I have and so will you." He shook his head, shut his eyes, and leaned his forehead against the glass. "And here I was thinking you would admit that you don't tell the truth either." I gripped the telephone as my knuckles turned white. "What do you mean?" "Come on Zoey I've seen you sneaking around acting like you're busy. You're hiding something and you won't tell me." All Zoey Campbell ever wanted to do was keep her head down and get through high school. Too bad it isn't that easy. Zoey is tired of everything and everyone. She is tired of being pushed around and tired of watching in the shadows. She is tired of pretending to like that girl that doesn't even know her name. Tired of pretending that she is ok when she isn't. She is constantly hoping for a better way out thinking she should just disappear. All she wants to do is scream but no matter how loud she screams no one can hear her. Don't worry things just get worse. Everyone thinks she's a "sick" girl and just another suicide case waiting to happen. I mean what kind of girl sits by herself everyday right? Zoey is running out of time and she thinks no one has tried to help her until her "special" speech in class. No one really cares about what she really thinks anyway. It just that feeling of pity. Everyone thinks she really is sick but she knows she's not. But what if she is? Maybe all it takes is that one thing to make her snap. As her life gets thrown into chaos and deep dark secrets she can't help but try to figure out the truth. Will she find a way to let her new friends save her or will she just end up as another suicide case? *Disclaimer wrote this in 2017 when I was 14.

Feel the potato. Breathe the potato. Be the potato. Embrace your inner potato. -_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_- (mood faces intended.) When every teen fiction cliche stereotype meets reality, you get the chronicles of a potato. The main potato in this story however is Sky Woods, a soon to be 16 year old girl. She gets new neighbors, and fortunately for her, they have a son her age. Unfortunately for her, he's super cute. Welcome to the potato clan, a group of friends who value friendship and loyalty over all. They're the group of friends you wish you could join but never would because you're not cool enough and care about what people think of you. Though this is a love story, the main story is and always will be about the friendships. Fries before guys, right? Sky and Peter meet shortly before school, and they instantly click. She then introduces him to her friends, and they all open up to him; something they would never do unless they're comfortable around you and trust you. But were they right to trust Peter? High school takes a crazy turn, and you'd be thankful this isn't a musical, because trust me, you don't want to hear Sky sing. Ever heard a dying goat? ...no? Oh...*clears throat* Neither have I.. Just...read the story. [WORKING ON SEQUEL] Disclaimer: I do not own any of the characters or fandoms I reference in this book. All rights to the rightful creators. !!Trigger warning: suicide, Implied/Referenced Self Harm!! Warnings before sections. . This book is currently discontinued, if I find motivation to finish it it is not in the foreseeable future. . "Trust me." His voice was soft and calming, the way that a good father could be assumed to sound. "This isn't what you want, it never has been and it never will be. Confusion is difficult to work through, but if you just let me help you, I can show you that it can be worked through." He rolled up his sleeve, showing several white streaks across his skin. The other was shocked. "N-no, I'm not good for anything, I'm nothing there's nothing for me." He shook his head many times, holding it in his hands after a bit. "No." "Can I touch you?" The boy who was trying to help this poor soul had approached a few paces. His voice was now quieter, more soft, and still caring. The boy at the bridge took a moment to think, then nodded his approval. The savior gently took the boy's hands delicately in his own and gently pulled the boy back. Well, less of a pull and more of a gentle suggestion. It worked and the boy stumbled down off of the edge. The boy started to cry. How could he be so weak that a boy, the same age as him, who seemed to have the same ideas and hatred toward himself as he, could keep him from stepping off? The other simply gently led him to his vehicle and took out a water bottle out of the backseat. The boy took it and looked at it suspiciously. "It's untampered, look, it's still sealed." Upon seeing this, the boy opened it and took a few sips of water. "Thank you. For the water." The savior smiled. "It's nothing much." He shrugged. "Have a phone? If you want I can put my number in and then you'll always be able to tell someone if you're having a pissy day." Surprisingly enough, the boy agreed. . They would both be around twenty.
