Kai Ashoka, a 17 year old girl living in Tokyo's 20th ward: not to mention a blood-thirsty ghoul, whose appetite for flesh leaves no room for remorse.

Youi Tsyuki a 19 year old boy also living in the 20th ward: son of a CCG Investigator, with a rebellious streak a mile wide.

Worlds collide when the two end up in a little cafe called Anteiku. Neither knows what the other is, but no one can hide for long in Tokyo, especially if your a ghoul.
