Every summer since 2010, I've collected and raised butterflies for fun and to try to help the butterfly population grow. I normally just have Monarchs that I find as caterpillars and Painted Ladies that I get from InsectLore, but sometimes I get a surprise butterfly baby to raise! I enjoy writing down my experiences as a butterfly parent, and in the past, others have enjoyed reading them. This is the 2017 summer butterfly story.

Kyland Jai Presley and Sailor Noelle Collins had been enemies since middle school, over an incident between Kyland and Sailor's older brother, Tailor.
