**AU FANFIC** Takes place in modern day, although "Lolita" takes place in 1940s. Oh well, that's what you get. Takes place in London; in my story Lolita, Charlotte, and Humbert have never lived in America and Humbert and Sherlock were childhood "friends." (Quotation marks because Sherlock doesn't have friends. He just has one. c;)
Sherlock meets up with his old pal Humbert and meets Humbert's new stepdaughter Lo. However, he notices the strange relationship between the two and begins distancing himself from them, but before he can fully do that, Lo confesses she loves Sherlock. Sherlock's torn between his heart's desire and what he knows as right and wrong. He shelters Lo from Humbert raping her any further, but as it gets more and more serious, Sherlock knows he must take action.

This fanfic is based off a Fanvid I saw on YouTube. I give the owner full credit for the idea, I just wanted to write it out as a fic. Although, I put my own twists on this story and it's original video plot. The main scenario and the way things play out are almost the same as in the video. But I decided to put Lestrade, a little bit of Anderson, Donovan, and Mrs. Hudson in this as well. Mycroft and Mary are also in this. And some other characters from the show are mentioned in this.
