Because of this, Millie has no friends, and she's often teased and bullied. She doesn't have any siblings either, and her parents are divorced. But one day, as she's walking to school, Millie comes across an abandoned Popplio. Her wish ends up coming true, and she embarks on a journey across Alola. Timeline of Errors
The story is set two years after our protagonists ran away from the crumbling building. Borderline depressed, empty, and disconnected, Valen ceased all forms of battling due to a newfound fear for violence and took up a corporate job. Unfortunately, that was not all she stood to lose as a mysterious power affected the Pokemon Centres and Pokeballs to enforce permadeaths. It is as it was foretold: the curtains will not close until a hero is no more. A bit of a warning, it's meant to be a rather absurd, edgy story of how bad things just happen, people are just doing whatever, and how people are pushed to be "saviours", but some may also find it sort of depressing. I've been told that I describe my thoughts in an uncomfortably visceral way which I never realised. So, if you feel sick, please stop reading right away. Disclaimer: I do not own any of the Pokemon appearing in the story nor the items (Pokeball, Potions, gym badges, etc.) or moveset and some location (Sunnyshore City) as they belong to Gamefreak and Nintendo. So Ruby helps her get one, which also inspires him to go on a journey as well with his Pokedex. Sapphire finally leaves, but she has to lay low so her father won't catch her. There are some gym leaders who are too busy to battle, don't want to battle, and are just too tough. To make matters worse, Team Magma and Aqua are causing trouble just to save the world? One of the team's leader even wants her to join them, but why? Also, who is the ally who is most willing to help her? For Sapphire, she will face many foes, family, and friends, old and new, on her journey, pushing her past her limits for power. Can she do it? She's eager to get things done quickly, but Flame was there to offer his guidance and protection. Flame is a mysterious stranger who happened to come out of nowhere, but the two felt instantly comfortable in front of one another as soon as they met. There was a connection they couldn't understand, and Flame was determined to keep her away from harm, but at a distance. Secrets will be revealed and memories will be remembered.
