A meteor is on collision path to Earth. Dr. Reynolds has the blueprints to a device that could save everything. But there is no time so he must do as he vowed to never do again. Stop time. Before his earth saving device was built the doctor dies leaving everyone he brought into the halted time trapped with no means to escape. Generations pass as the new civilization begins. 15 year old Amon discovers this secret and strives to restart time while protecting the Earth from the doom of the meteor.

Dan gets saved from an oncoming truck that would have taken his life if he wasn't pulled back at the last second. After being saved he suddenly can see numbers floating above everyone he passes by and quickly figured out that those numbers represent the lifespan of that person counting down in seconds. He finds someone who's numbers are lower than everyone else's and realizes he is going to die within a couple of hours.
