July 8, 1941. German occupied Poland.
"We haven't seen light in a while. The train doesn't stop often, food was also scarce. I wanted to open the doors and jump out. But I knew that I couldn't. I'd die before finding Lena, my only blood relative."
Amelia had a normal life before the war, her mother and sister had run a lilac farm in Western Poland.
Germans had invaded in 1941. Fire destroyed her home and now Amelia is in for the shock of her life. German Concentration Camp.
