When a rich uncle dies, newly divorced Tansy Calhoun inherits an Antebellum plantation home in Louisiana and she moves to Chickasaw Bayou to start her life anew.
  Tansy struggles to adjust to life on the bayou, until she meets Kane, a mysterious man that lives three miles down the bayou.
  Tansy, completely out of her element begins to depend on Kane more and more. But the closer she gets to him, the more guarded he is.  She prods and pokes Kane to open up to her, only to have him close up even more.
  Until one night, when he could not hide his secrets any longer, and by the light of the full moon, Kane's restrictions were exposed, finally allowing Tansy to see him for who he really is. Can she accept him?
