"Forced Sexualities" is a novel written to encourage parents (especially religious) to support their child's sexuality without being critical (or marking it off as a sin). The novel is based off the life of Gabriel O'Dowd, a young man who is a homosexual and gets beaten for liking the same gender by his father. During the months of the abuse, Gabriel meets another young man named James. They become quick friends and start to fall in love. James becomes a short-lived secret. With the secret revealed, how will Gabriel escape his father's continuous abuse? How can James save him? They both attempt a very daring escape that leaves Gabriel's father and sister stunned.
