Only a few months ago, a brave Changeling named Thorax stepped up to the evil queen Chrysalis along side his friends Starlight Glimmer, Discord, and Trixie. They succeeded, reforming the changelings, and chrysalis fled.
Melonade, an adult reformed Changeling has a hard time adjusting to the new environment and senses that something fishy is going on. Because of her curiosity she meets an unreformed Changeling who tells her that she could help her, but if she accepted her offer, her reputation would be ruined, being marked as a "spy" or "traitor"

However, due to the Changeling invasion during the royal wedding, the negative energies it produced also frees Discord from his stone prison, who also decides that Earth should be his new playground.
