It is Junior year of Megan's high school life and she is determined to go through it without any drama and live in her own little world of books, music, and tv shows.
Just like she always has been doing, nothing more, nothing less.

During the summer before her junior year, she goes to the summer carnival that always happens every year.  Unfortunately for her, she meets Max Pierce, the new guy in town. She expected it to be a one time meeting, that she wouldn't have to see him anymore and boy was she wrong.

They aren't alike, of course not. Megan is quiet and keeps to herself. Max is loud and outgoing.

But is that enough to keep them apart? 

At the carnival they meet. It started with a ride and not just any ride, The Tunnel of Love ride for couples.

I look up at Todd's window and grimace when I see him gently pushing Jennifer into his room. So that's where he went. At first she doesn't think she can until a beautiful grayish white mustang comes to her dad's farm, who Rose names later as Stardust. Rose finally realizes that she can do this alone, she's going to need help from her father to help her get back on and also have help from the new cute boy, Austin who's helping for his community service. At first he doesn't want to be there, but eventually finds a reason to stay. Rose has had a good life up until the day of the accident, but now she's got to face loss, and heartbreak, but she's got to learn to get back in the race. This story holds romance, family, trust, understanding the past, and conquering your fears. *Read to find out more, I know it may sound boring from the description, but it's really not. I hope you try to read it and see that it's really good, and touching sorta. So just try to love it.*
