May 2, 2004 6:00am local time Harry sat in the chair beside the bed gazing lovingly at his beautiful sleeping wife. She had been very tired as of late because she was very pregnant with their first child. Her long hair cascaded over her shoulder and moved a little as she tried unsuccessfully to adjust herself into a more comfortable position. She opened her eyes a bit and blinked in the early morning sunlight that was streaming in through the window. She smiled at her husband as he rushed to her and asked her if she needed anything. "No love, I'm alright. But it would be nice to be held." Harry climbed back into the bed and pulled her into his arms. She sighed as she leaned back onto his chest and laid her head on his shoulder. Her hair tickled his nose and he breathed in the sweet aroma that he had grown so accustomed to. Harry wondered how he could be so lucky. As he lay there with his wife, he thought back on the previous years and how much pain and suffering he had experienced. Any other day he would have been dressing for work but he did not have to work today. This particular day was the anniversary of the Battle of Hogwarts and they had a memorial to attend later that afternoon. There he would see the loved ones that were still living as well as pay tribute to the loved ones that he had lost. 6 years ago on this day, they had finally defeated the dark wizard Voldemort...
