She uncovers some hidden mysteries about her town's past and her ancestors. Learning all this makes her a target for the Mayor.

His goal is to keep as much of Normalville's past as much of a secret as possible. When a little girl comes poking around, he's forced to use something he hasn't used in years.
Thomas
(a.k.a. Tommie) Tara's twin brother who supports Tara in everything that she does. Even things like her obsession with the supernatural. Although he doesn't think any of the stuff is real, he'll go to the ends of the Earth for his sister.
