The mind is a powerful thing. Despite the never ending theories that circle the human brain, there is one thing that is certain- the mind can project and intensify scenarios that don't physically exist.
Nora Rowan Jackson, a newly hired FBI agent, was well versed in the study of the human mind and actions. Having studied body language and the many different aspects that lie within the brain, she was already familiar with the different deficiencies that often occurred within the mind. With having recently been hired as a profiler for the FBI's BAU, Nora began wading into the deeply chaotic world that was known as the Behavior Analysis Unit.
After being put on a serial kidnapping and murder case, Nora finds herself chasing after a killer that seems to know every move that she will make before she has even thought of it. As Nora runs against a ticking clock, she finds herself in a spider's web that is inhabited by more than one predator. While she busied herself with trying to save others from being abducted, she forgot to protect herself. After being abducted on the way to her boyfriend's house, Nora is faced with an even bigger problem; how can she find her unsub while fighting to keep her own life?
