Nikki is an outcast. She has her little group of buddies, and things are good. But then things get amazing when she finally sets eyes upon her soul-mate...Or rather, Eternal Mate, Jesse.
Jesse is popular, but only for reasons no-one remembers. No-one has the observation skills to tell that Jesse is very much like the people they cast out as freaks, and more different than they realise. For example, one of their differences: Jesse isn't human.
Neither is Nikki.
Only their parents know. But they don't know everything.
Nikki and Jesse have many things in common. And at the speed things occur between them, many assume they're just being teens, unaware of what love is. But they're more aware and more positive of what love is than the eldest man in existence. They just haven't remembered yet.
