The bubonic plagues ever reaching grasp has destroyed all of the little life William Crawford has ever had. His wife and child dead and his doctorial profession in shambles. Will makes a deal with a loan sharking man known as Carver and brings his clinic back up to date.
Soon though his payments become too exorbitant and Will has no money to pay Carver back. He tames his payments in interest of blood. Being awoken now to the needs and constant control of his overbearing Vampire master. William will have to navigate the now decrepit city of London to make a living for himself.
As the witch hunts ensue, and rivals are created, William can't slip in the slightest. His head depends on it
