The nerd of the school, Ella, has always had a crush on her brother's bad boy best friend, Aiden. But, Aiden's dad, being the sophisticated, rich, stuck-up man that he is, finally has enough of his son's antics one day and decides that military school is the only option to get his rebellious, out of control son, in line. Ella has been hopelessly in love with Aiden for her whole life, more or less, which was quite weird, seeing as he never even took notice of her, even though he had been to her house a million times. What happens when one day, he just disappears without a word to anybody, not even his best friend. Nobody knows what happened to him. This hits Ella hard, seeing as she's practically in love with him. She decides to just get over him, seeing as he more than likely wasn't going to come back anytime soon. The rumors start, and spread like wildfire, saying anything from he was killed on his motorcycle, to he was in prison and rehab. No one even considered military school. She kicks herself for even being slightly interested in him after hearing all these rumors. Two years down the road, she's shopping with her best friend for an outfit to wear to her older brother's twentieth birthday party. Since Natalie had moved into their small town, they had grown close and were practically sisters. Natalie had given her a makeover, and with the help of Ella's twin brother, Ethan, had helped break her out of her shell. She was no longer a shy bookworm. She was still smart, yes, one of the top students in her class, actually. But, she was now quite popular. She had a group of great friends, who weren't the cliché popular kids that hated everyone and everything that crossed their paths. When she accidently runs into someone while going to checkout, and looks up to find the boy she used to think she loved standing before her, what will happen?
