Justice For The Fallen ✓
Unjustly accused of murder, the Demon of Wrath joins forces with the Archangel of Justice to find the true culprit. ____ Sannarah lives from one deadline to the next. As a Wrath Demon, she is obliged to provide a certain number of human souls to the Fallen God every month so she can stay in the Human Realm. If she fails to do so, she'll be sent straight back to Hell. And it's not a nice place, even for demons. One day she follows the shady tip-off and finds herself in the middle of a gruesome crime scene as the main suspect. The lead investigator Melkyal, an Archangel of Justice, gives her a choice: she can help him find an actual perpetrator and get a clean slate, or refuse and spend a few weeks in jail for petty crimes. With looming deadlines, she can't afford to waste time. But teaming up with an angel can't be a good idea. Even though he seems reasonable and focused on finding the truth, he's still a mortal enemy. Sannarah has an opportunity to topple the unjust order plaguing her whole life, but the chances of success are slim, and the consequences of failure are unfathomable. Melkyal must choose between blind obedience to his god and trusting his own judgment. In The Crossfire
An angelic halfling, thrown into a brutal war - not her own. Can she survive, can humanity? Angels or Hellion, Sky hates them both, hell, she even hates half-breeds like herself. She has only known this war, waging long before her birth. Because of it she has been running all her life, leaving behind a trail of bodies- being chased by both monsters and forbidden secrets. The secrets of what she was- of who who she was. Her mother's warnings always loud in her mind, propelling her to care about nothing but survival. And to keep moving was to survive. Until one day she has no where left to run and everything she has been fleeing from swallows her whole. She finds herself held in a cell alongside humans, made to fight or die as if their lives have no worth. Unable to run, she is forced to face 'them' head on for she will never bow to the beings who never belonged on Earth to begin with. To survive in this world she will need to adapt- learning that sometimes those deemed untrustworthy may make powerful allies and those she had given her heart to may have always been the biggest threat of all. Great! But who are you to judge? Fair question. This is not to humble-brag, but I've been critiquing and have worked with story development for quite some time, and I've picked up a lot along the way. ☙ - As an Ambassador, I work on content projects. ☙ - If you look at my profile, you'll see everything I've published so far has managed to standout in one way or another, whether by leading me to become a Wattpad Star; or by winning a Watty (twice!); or by being picked as a Top 10 in major Wattpad contests (twice!); or being featured. All I'm saying is I'm no slouch. I'm not brilliant either. But I've got some experience around what can catch an agent, editor, or judge's eye, and I'd like to share that with the community. ☙ - In another lifetime, I used to work for HBO in Development and at ICM (the talent agency) in their writers' department which means I understand how professionals quickly gauge whether or not they'll take a closer look at a work and/or make an offer. This kind of insight can be helpful if you're planning to submit your work or even just want to stand out more here on Wattpad. ☙ - I used to provide critiques for three writers, all of them traditionally published.
