Testing The Waters
I'm not saying I hate Alexander Jameson. After all, I have Jesus in my heart like the good southern girl I am. But if I did hate anyone? Alex would definitely make the cut. I have one, singular move in this never-ending game of torment he forces me to play. I avoid Alex with every fiber of my being. The less I have to see of his beautiful (ahem, I mean stupid) face, the better. It's not just a coincidence that we haven't had a single class together since 7th grade. It's entirely by my design-an agenda of self-preservation, if you will. But fate must have other plans when the place I volunteer at unknowingly assigns me to mentor Alex's little sister. Now that avoiding Alex is no longer an option, I quickly find myself in dangerous waters with him. Sink or swim, I'm not going down without a fight.Complete

Waiting for Us
Leah and Alex have been best friends forever, which is super convenient-except they're both completely oblivious to the fact that they're in love with each other. Clearly, they should be together, but hey, why make things easy? Instead, they spend years dancing around their feelings like it's a complicated game of "who can mess up their life more." And honestly, if they just talked to each other once or twice, this whole mess would've been over in...* drum roll * ...* drum roll intensifies * ...a chapter ! But nope, they'd rather be dramatic, make bad decisions, and send a million texts that never get answered. Will they finally stop being idiots and admit their feelings? Maybe. But don't hold your breath! These two somehow always miss their shot, even though it's written in neon lights . From accidental pregnancies to missing flights, life seems to go out of its way to throw obstacles in their path. They text, they don't text, they live in different countries, they don't live in different countries, and they make every bad decision possible-except the one that actually fixes everything. She moves to a new city and started a new life with new people. She is a highschool senior and wants to graduate being low-key and doesn't really want to socialize with immature brats in highschool. What will happen when she meet people in her both form, as nerd and as hot, cool person? Will she ever fall in love?
