Wonder is a girl who grew up being told she was special and unique but she never really understood what this meant. Her parents hid her away from society, and she was homeschooled, until she reached the age of 17, when they decided she was old enough to attend public school.
That's when everything when downhill.
She was no longer special, and was teased and bullied, and soon enough, she found out what 'special' really meant.
