Every night since Elijah Woodscroft was six years old, he saw her. She'd sneak up to the roof, happy and carefree. Every night, Elijah fell in love with her a little bit more. There was only one problem: she was a princess and he was a commoner struggling under the harsh reign of King Charles Silvaki. Every night since Princess Lilith Lorraine of house Silvaki, third in line to the throne, was five years old, she's climbed up to the roof of the castle. At first it was simply because she was bored and wanted to play more imaginative games than what she could in her playroom, but over the years it became a safehaven from her abusive father, the king. She hates her father, but loves him too. Her conflicting emotions alter her entire life.
