Every night since Elijah Woodscroft was six years old, he saw her. She'd sneak up to the roof, happy and carefree. Every night, Elijah fell in love with her a little bit more. There was only one problem: she was a princess and he was a commoner struggling under the harsh reign of King Charles Silvaki. Soon, he joins a rebel group trying to take him down, but his fascination with Lilith interferes with everything. Every night since Princess Lilith Lorraine of house Silvaki, third in line to the throne, was five years old, she's climbed up to the roof of the castle. At first it was simply because she was bored and wanted to play more imaginative games than what she could in her playroom, but over the years it became a safehaven from her abusive father, the king. She hates her father, but loves him too. Her conflicting emotions alter her entire life. As soon as Elijah is old enough, he gets a job at the palace working for the man he despises and the woman he loves. He can't help but wonder: will his love for Lilith and loyalty to the rebels conflict? Will his life ever make sense again?

In a kingdom built on beauty called Lilith Kingdom there was once a soldier named Aristide. As strong as steel, half as large as a corn stalk, and just the sight of him caused young maidens to faint in the streets. Everybody knew what he looked like, but never got to know him personally. Some people said he was nice, others said he was cold, the truth was no one knew. Everyone said, You're so young and handsome, why don't you find yourself a girl to be your wife, but he never answered. No one knew that Aristide was looking for someone who loved him not because of his appearance but because of his personality. He was trying to find someone who knew when his birthday was, someone who knew his name. What he didn't know was that the love he was seeking was just as lost as he was in the deserted lands not that far away. Acacia, a beautiful girl with a scarred face, her parents named her Acacia, which means abandoned. The wasteland is the place where every person who was "DEFECTIVE" was placed. Acacia was a beautiful girl who was inquisitive, she was always looking for an adventure or occasionally looking for a little trouble. She was 17 with beautiful long locks of silk chestnut colored hair and bronzed skin but a small scar on her left eye. One problem was that Acacia was a female and her birthday was 2 months away. The law of the wasteland is that all females must be wed at the age 18. Acacia loves no one other than her adoptive father because in the wasteland most people don't love at all and think of themselves to be a curse. She says she would need more time but, how will she get the time to find that love. Let's begin the story.
