The grand prison of Alchemore is home to the worst of the worst. Criminals that murdered innocents, raped women, and the best thieves in all of Tharian, that were caught, make their homes there, in the cold hinterland of the North. Those who are sentenced there by the Council are said to never return. Arthur Trey was falsely accused of murdering a King's Bronze when he was found by a group of King's Silver standing above him holding a dagger that was not his. He had no idea how he got there, or why he was there. As a result, he was sentenced to life in Alchemore, which to Arthur seemed better than death.
