When Liv finds a word burned into the door of her apartment, everything in her life changes. She meets Dean, Sam and Claire who seem to know everything about monsters, angels, demons, and everything in between. When Castiel appears, Liv finds out why Claire really brought her to the bunker. She's a Nephilim, one of only a few that are left on earth. Confused as to why heaven did not pay attention to the handful of Nephilim that are still alive, Liv and her new friends try to find out what's so special about them. Will they have enough time to figure out who the Nephilim are and how they came into existence before the angels start their chase?
