Es geht nämlich um ein Mädchen, das ein Jungennamen trägt. Das hat traditionelle Hintergründe ihrer Familie. (By the way ihre Mutter heisst auch Kevin)
Denn auch ihr Familienname heisst Maria.
Sie geht wie jedes andere Mädchen von ihrer Heimatstadt Beverly Hills auf die Beverly Hills Highschool. Trotz ihres Namen ist sie eine der beliebtesten Mädchen ihrer Schule. Wie üblich ist jedes beliebte Mädchen auf einer Higschool: hübsch, lustig und eine Cheerleader. Allerdings ist Kevin etwas Ungewöhnlich anders.
