Life couldn't have been better for her. She had the perfect life, perfect job and the perfect boyfriend. Everything a girl could ever want. But it hadn't always been this way.

At the age of 6 Kate lost both her parents in a tragic accident. None of her relatives wanted to take responsibility of her so she was thrown into the care system. She learnt very young that if she wanted to get somewhere in life then she had to do it on her own.

Kate was determined not to let her her tragic past effect her future so she worked hard in school to achieve the best result that would help her gain a scholarship for the college of her choice. She succeeded despite not having the resources others had.

She graduated from university with a degree in business and finance and was soon employed by a high end business corporation company in the heart of New York. She quickly moved up the ladder due to her commitment and hard work and was promoted as the head of finance after only a year of working there.

For the first time in her life, since her parents died, Kate was happy. But what will happen when the company she works for is taken over by another company? Will she still have her job? And what will happen when her new boss takes a liking for her?

Only time will tell what the future holds for Kate........
