Quinn has been entrapped in a strange glass box her whole life with no explanation. She's been there for 16 years. Raised by herself. Scared, with no idea of what the outside world is. One day the floor she is standing on moves downward like an elevator. When he arrives on the floor she sees Damian the boy who broke her free. He got a job to control the buttons and whatnot and wanted to save her. That's why he got the job. Since he controlled the things he broke into the special room with a single button to break her free. He had the keys to do this and went ahead with it. He knew he would be killed but had a plan to run away with Quinn. Probably the most dangerous thing ever was to let her go. The whole huge city ran and panicked. This girl was born with a gift that kept the city in light. Damian explained to her what was happening and who she was. Without her the big bright city would go down in flames. Of all the years she has been in there, there is an emergency 7 days of energy stored. The city will use this to survive. Damian had no care for the city and always wanted to escape. By having Quinn by his side he could use her to go past the barriers. Quinn and Damian fled the city. Quinn and Damian break through the barriers of the city using Quinn's newly discovered gift. Along the way more people are discovered who help them along the way.
