"Who are they?" Jenny asked, dripping wet. Silence. Then she heard footsteps echoing as they came closer and closer, stopping at her door. Her heart jumped as she listened to the rev of a started motor. The lights were dim and flickering. She could hardly see the outline of the door and she was standing frozen right in front of it.
The sound of metal scraping against the door sent her backward against the wall and her arm hit one of the shower heads, knocking it loose. She wrenched the pipe from the wall and stood, shaking, back against the cold concrete.

An eerie silence echoed through the house at the end of Yellow Brooke Street, the wind outside slammed toward the wooden walls making a whistle inside the house from the cracked windows; the front door made a thud each time it slammed toward the wall and the screams from the dead gave the house an uneasiness to it. I stood before the house, while my friends were excited to do the exact opposite of what our parents told us to; I was not. I trusted my mother when she told us to never get close to this place. "Where's the fun in that?" she teases, propping herself up on her elbows. - As I murmur against her lips, "This doesn't change anything," Lisa pauses for a moment, her breath warm against my skin. She hums in response, the sound vibrating through our connected bodies.
