Everyone has a soulmate in this world, they are connected by a red string wrapped around their pinkies, but these strings are not seen by anyone except affinities. Who are people, who are able untie and retie the strings together, the affinities have certain looks. like rare eye colors( red, gray, purple), dark hair , pale skin. Most wear different eye color contacts, dye their hair, and get tan, so they don't get constantly asked to change the strings, who the person is connected to, etc... "I didn't mean to fall in love with him, Mairy." " Well what did you mean to do?" " I wanted to ruin his life"
