They fought battles together, and somehow miraculously survived and conquered. But time passed, and fewer monsters showed up. Eventually, they stopped their family business. "Saving people, hunting things, the family business," was soon no more. They found hunters that did their job for them. Sam and Dean actually could live their lives, like they had always dreamed, but Dean always had a feeling something bad was going to happen. He just didn't know when. Sam finally found his love and started a family, they even had a daughter named Zara. She was a beautiful child, but she has this secret.

Dean had Lisa, a women who has short term memory loss. Sam has Jess who was getting sick with fevers from left and right. Both Winchester boys were sick of all of this work. Dean with having to deal with taking Lisa out on first dates almost every week to try and spark her memory. Then Sam constantly in the hospital because Jess was burning up. They also had to deal with there jobs, the older one worked at his mechanics shop, the younger was a lawyer. Now both were planning on spending Christmas alone. Dean in the shop and Sam in his library. Christmas was never something they could get into, everything was just too canny. But then they both get some new neighbors and began to discover some feelings they never knew were there.
