I dared to look over my shoulder to see how close they were to me. I saw them gaining on me and I ran as fast as I could through the thick brush.  I wish I had my leather cuffs on right now but I gave them to my little brother so he wouldn't hurt his wrists.

As I ran I hoped that my little plan for us to separate had worked and that he hid when he was far enough away. And that the boys chasing us had split up which would give Henry and I a better chance at getting away. 

When I got far enough away I found the tallest tree I could and climbed up. I climbed just in time but then I heard him. 

"Hello love."

Melanie and Henry Mills are always the target of many villainous plans due to who they are related to. Melanie made a blood promise to her little brother when she was 10 and him 5 that she would always protect him no matter what. And she would make that stand true now more than ever. In Neverland.

He's more compassionate then he was before she had escaped and she's sleep in his treehouse with him side by side. Surprised by his compassion (well more like his less harsh to her) She absorbs the moment, she's for once happy after a very long time. So she doesn't run, she doesn't fight back (unless it's playfully), she cooperates. They learn to lean on each other in a time of need. Wendy doesn't want to leave him, as he hid the only one who searched for her and cared enough to stay. But soon she realizes how easily a person can be replaced. That there are secret intentions behind every speech and remark. Is it true love? Even so, there's is a means to an end. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ It is mature due to a little violence.
