This story revolves in a world where there were once two species: humans and mutants. Mutants being the most powerful species in the world.
However, these two species mixed together and a new species was born: Saecula. Only the first born child, that is directly related to the first ancestor, is allowed to have the title Saecula. Everyone else descended from this bloodline, are called sae.
Saecula are the most powerful in the world and for centuries Saecula were supposed to keep the peace between the humans and mutants.
After centuries, something happened that nobody could explain: a twin was being born into the Saecula family. Many believe, that only the firstborn twin has gained all the power and therefore, gaining the title Saecula but are they right? And why has fate suddenly brought a twin into the world instead of just one ruler?
Alicia is the younger twin. She has been born into her sister's shadow. Her daily struggle is to prove her worthiness of the place next to Leiza. Not only for herself but also to support the sister she loves so dearly. Beside constantly being compared to her sister there are the nightmares that hunt her at night.
