"I told you, if you started to fail, I'd bring you home." The cranky old woman told the restless girl, trying not to yell.

"And I told you that Hogwarts is my home so it looks like we don't have a problem." The girl replied, pushing herself off of the stool she sat on and heading upstairs, a smirk gracing her lips.

"You will be the death of me Adiya." Replied the woman, smiling as she watched her granddaughter head upstairs.

"Unless I'm called old age, I don't think so." She darted up the stairs with a cheesy smile and a death wish.

"You're crossing a fine line between cheeky and brutal, young lady!"

"Whatever!"

*

Adiya, a fifteen year old student at Hogwarts school, lives with her grandmother most days as her parents are constantly travelling due to their job. If them travelling a lot wasn't enough, Hogwarts term time usually clashed with the dates they were back and Adiya was lucky if she got to see them more than once a year. She didn't know what they did, but she quickly learnt to stop asking.

Due to the quietness that always enveloped the house and the loneliness that suffocated Adiya, when she got to Hogwarts she surrounded herself with loud and outspoken people, which had a tendency to make her loud spoken as well. However she also quickly found out that McGonnagal didn't like that.

Unfortunately, it had come to fifth year and everyone found themselves buried in work for their owls. Work that Adiya didn't want to do. She took any chance she could to not work, leaving everything to the last minute. But if staying up all night, thinking about what to write about animal transfiguration with Peter, meant she could pull a prank with James and Sirius or gossip with Alice and Marlene she didn't mind. But, pair that with creepy hints from her brother about soon to be murders, her parents being a big part in the upcoming war and Adiya becoming more of a target than ever, grades weren't all what she had to worry about.

Cordelia Rosier and the Proprietorial Portraiture ~ Marauder's Era AU by 888AthenaBlack888
15 parts Complete
"Merry meet. I am Cordelia of the Most Inbreded and Snobbish House of Rosier." Contrary to popular belief, Sirius Black wasn't the biggest disgrace. No, that title rightfully belonged to Cordelia Rosier. (Secretly, of course). ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ In the Rosier household, words such as 'blood-traitor' and 'muggle-lover' is spat on with hatred. There is no bigger betrayal than thinking that the 'mud-bloods' are worth having magic. By the age of seven, Cordelia Rosier was quite sure that she was one of the blood-traitors that her family detests. Don't get her wrong, she loves her family with all her heart, soul and being and she wouldn't trade her parents and older brother for anything in the world, but there are just a few things that she doesn't necessarily agree on with them. Opinions on blood-purity happen to be one of them. That doesn't mean she'll admit to them about it though. Like she mentioned, she loves her family and she doesn't want to disappoint them. But there is no reason she can't do both, right? Surely, there must be some way that she doesn't have to make it publicly known about her thoughts on blood-purity while still keeping true to her personal beliefs, right? When Cordelia met Sirius Black one evening, there couldn't have been two children who became faster friends. Join Cordelia as she navigates through school and life in general, discovering the true meaning of deception as she plays a game of 'blood-traitor, 'blood-traitor not' with everybody and realises the difference between 'want to' and 'have to' But that all comes much later. After all, she's currently only a first-year, and right now, there are more important things to worry about like classes, homework and why somebody is trying to kill all the Hufflepuffs. He pulled me back by my waist and in front of him. He was towering over me as he sat me down in the chair. He kneeled down to my level and looked at my face. "You got something to tell me sweetheart?" My breath hitched as I slowly nodded no. He smirked, holding my hands in his before merging his lips with mine. She had a dark past there- She started school a year earlier than Harry and others because that's the system there. Snow Potter would visit Hogwarts every single year at the end of the year to get close with her brother and make friends but also to help with conflicts ( she was there to find Sirius Black, Sorcerer's Stone, etc. Btw, she went to school in the US(witchcraft) and it was slightly more advanced there so she knows more than Harry. Playing With Fire (Charlie Weasley X Reader) by TheLemonSheriff

Charlie X Reader, 'Playing With Fire' Book 1 (Series Completed) *** "Uh, yeah. I stopped going to classes a while back. Believe it or not, that's not good for the GPA. I had, like, a 26 average or something," I said like it wasn't a big deal. "Damn, that's not great," he admitted. He rounded the corner into Percy's room. I could hear Percy fighting with the twins in their room. "Why'd you do that?" he asked teasingly. "My dad died," I answered honestly. "Oh, shit. I'm sorry," he said and his face dropped. "It's alright," I dismissed. "Seriously, stop looking at me like that." "I can't help it," he said. "You're making it worse. You look like a wounded puppy," I whined. "Don't be like everyone else. I'm sick of people treating me differently because of this whole thing. Treat me normally." "You mean, like flirt with you a little bit?" "Well, I, uh," I stuttered. He grinned at me. "You're blushing." *** Seventh-year Y/N Y/L/N is what the professors would call a prime example of wasted potential, with an impressively bad 26% average. As far as she's concerned, she is past academic redemption. However, Dumbledore and McGonagall decide to introduce a new opportunity for struggling students, a scholarship that covers a trip abroad. Y/N is desperately in need of this scholarship if she wants to graduate from Hogwarts, but she is struggling through more than anyone knows. The only thing that is keeping her going is the family she's found with the Weasleys. They're an odd bunch and that's exactly why she fits in. Because she doesn't. Things are simple with the Weasley family. That is until she crosses a line with one of the Weasley boys, a path that can never be retraced. Y/N finds herself trapped in a web of lies that she had created. One spark and everything she has worked for could be gone in an instant. And she's playing with fire. This story contains mature content. Trigger warnings are included at the beginning of chapters. I hope you enjoy!

Every night since it happened, Thea finds herself with the book in her lap, her parents haven't spoken since the funeral and it's almost like she doesn't exist anymore. However, it doesn't seem to work until the first frost comes and while he isn't trying to fall, he slips on ice dragging his brother down with him and finally, he hears a laugh. Sirius Black has been disowned, Remus Lupin is struggling with the reality of being a werewolf. Neither of them knows what their futures hold. When Remus doesn't show up at Hogwarts, Sirius is faced with the challenge of moving past old quarrels and helping his friend. Is he worthy of Remus? Is he worthy of his friends? Warnings: Some homophobia, implied childhood abuse, physical fighting, coming out Exciting update! Part 2 is now being posted under the title "And Yet, The Sun Still Rose - A Collection of Wolfstar Stories." I also have a Regulus fanfic that is complete and available to read if you are interested! Part 2: Sirius and Remus are in love, but the world is shifting, and the Marauders are growing older. Soon, they will have to leave Hogwarts and find their own way through the world among the growing turmoil in the wizarding community. These are stories of love, friendship, family, and sometimes pain that shape the Marauders during their final years at Hogwarts and beyond. Most of what you are about to read was written around three years ago during a difficult period in my life. I won't go into the details of such things here, but I can say that writing about the Marauders, often daily at the time, was an escape for me and what was initially a plan for a cohesive second installment of my "Mirror Moon" story quickly changed into something that resembled a collection of moments. I figured I'd never be able to share it because the story doesn't run smoothly, but when I opened the document today and saw that I'd written over 170,000 words, I knew that I needed to comb through it and find the individual stories within. All I hope is that these stories can bring you joy, entertainment or even just a short escape as they did for me all those years ago.
