      Welcome to the Salem Games, where fifteen innocent people, chosen from a random roster, enter the arena in Salem, Massachusetts, and scar their entire sanity trying to stay alive. Deaths are inevitable. Betrayals are expected. The fear of being killed at night or lynched during the day by none other than our closest friends continuously looms over our heads...even after the Games.
       
      My name is Brianne. You think I'm just a 17-year-old girl from a small city in Canada with extensive knowledge on the game that I've played for the past three years. But when somehow, my name ends up on the random roster to play the Salem Games, little did I know just what changes would impede upon my once truly innocent life.
       
      You only have one chance to prove yourself. If you can't...you're dead.

It isn't until a near death experience and a terrifying encounter with a demon that she starts to realize that the stories were true... or half true. After striking an interesting connection with the demon she starts to realize that maybe they aren't so different from humans, and that maybe the stories she's been fascinated with her whole life aren't telling the whole tale. You can learn about TW's and other stuff in the preface. I hope you enjoy:) Also yes I know there are tiny grammatical and spelling errors in this book. And yes I am too lazy to change them. I am very much not an English major.
