Elizabeth is a 24 year old, newly divorced aspiring makeup artist.  Newly divorced at 24 you're thinking, insane, huh?  Yes, it is.  But it's better than the alternative.  See, she was married to Mark, her 35 year old, abusive ex-husband.  Mark and Elizabeth met when she was 19, fell in - what she thought was love- and soon married when she turned 21.  She thought she was living her fairy tale until Mark came home drunk as a skunk and threatening to beat Elizabeth up.  Through countless black eyes, bumps on the head and numerous bruises - Elizabeth finally got the courage to divorce her husband and get a restraining order against him.  She moved out to California for makeup artistry, and just landed her first job in California.  She is the makeup artist for a popular tv show.  She's is getting ready to embark on a new adventure with new friends, a new job, a new city, all while leaving her ex-husband behind, and hopefully finding love again one day..or will she?  It seems her ex doesn't really understand what a restraining order means...
