Devon Clayton is exuberant about the idea of hosting foreign exchange student, Mika Ivanova, for a year. Expecting to become close friends with her, Devon is shocked to witness and transformation in the sweet and innocent girl to a total bitch. When Mika steals the guy she likes, they become enemies, and all of their friends must choose a side. But it's hard being enemies with someone when you live in the same house. As the girls go through their ups and downs, they realize what is truly important in life. The story is told through both perspectives to show that even on truce, it's hard for the girls not to be jealous of one another.
