Rick pulled the trigger, Shane hadn't a second to react, he dropped to his knees quickly. Fortunately, the bullet hit his shin. Shane gripped his leg tightly and cried out. "You son of a-" Rick pressed the barrel of his gun to his forehead. "Shut up." Shane looked up at his once best friend, unaware of the walkers quickly approaching from the woods behind them. "This is what is going to happen. You are going to take your car and leave. If I see you ever again, I'll put you out myself." Rick warned. Shane scrambled to his feet, despite the wound he wasn't about to beg Rick for forgiveness, he made his choice. Shane left the Greene farm as quickly as he could, leaving the rest to the herd of walkers that had begun to take over the farm. "Adios." He stuck his middle finger up, driving fast down the dirt road."We will meet again, old friend." Kate Rosewood huddled in a corner of the abandoned BP gas station. She was all alone, Kate had always been frightened of the end of the world but never imagined it would happen in her lifetime. The walkers were everywhere outside, she had maybe two bullets left in her gun, a hunter knife that desperately needed to be sharpened lay at her side. "Oh god." She whispered over and over again, hoping for someone to come rescue her. How she survived this long was a mystery. The doors of the gas station flung open, Rose screamed thinking her time was up, what she didn't expect was a gun going off, someone picking her up and running to a car outside.
