We all know the story. James woos Lily, they get married and have a child, then get killed by Voldemort, but Lily's love helped her son win the war. But we've also heard that James was a jerk in school, and Lily obviously wasn't a pushover, otherwise she would never have given her life like she did.
So...what happened? What did Moony, Wormtail, and Padfoot do to help dear ol' Prongs get the girl? Something had to happen, because James wouldn't have married Lily unless he had changed at least a bit.
But you can't just focus on one person for seven years; Sirius and Remus and Peter had to have something going on. Something they could tease each other about.
And hey, what Marauder story could be complete without some midnight snacking, run-ins with Severus, and some dangerous shenanigans?

Seventh year was supposed to be great. It was their last year at Hogwarts. Things changed big time. Remus Lupin was no longer part of the Marauders. He ditched them because he was fed up. All the two did was bully people lower than them. Remus Lupin you can say was not normal. On top of being a wizard, he was a werewolf, gay, and pregnant. Now he was dealing with this all alone. His boyfriend dumped him for some chick. Remus was done crying over him. Lily Evans had many friends and a great boyfriend to boot but, James Potter would not leave her alone. She was tired of dealing with him and his bullying ways. Her boyfriend was her best friend as was Remus Lupin. Severus Snape had a wonderful girlfriend. What more did he need. No it was true he did not have many friends but, he had one true one. Severus hated the Marauders but, Remus started hanging with him things changed. Modern Marauders (Jily fanfic)(Completed)
What I'm doing here is taking the Marauders' (James, Sirius, Remus, and Peter), Lily Evans', and Severus Snape's tales of Hogwarts and I'm turning them modern because I don't know what it would've been like when they were actually there so... yeah. This is mostly in the point of view of Lily Evans, but I might switch to James every now and then. I'm going to try and focus a lot of the Marauders, of course, and their relationships with Lily. And of course, Lily's relationship with Snape because let's be honest, we all ship it a little bit! This takes place in their sixth year so.... enjoy!
