Wings of Fire; Torn Between Sides
This book is a little outdated and will be getting a rewrite soon! ------------------ Fighting, dragons were always fighting in the Rainforest. Not physically, but verbally. The Rainforest Kingdom was being torn apart by its residents. The RainWing's and NightWing's. Queen Dandelion and King Palmtree are doing nothing to calm down their tribe, so, someone else has to. Lavender is an seven year old dragonet who belongs to both tribes. She's a hybrid, born from her RainWing mother and NightWing father. Her life is wonderful, at least in her family and small village close to the edge of the Rainforest. But, she's starting to notice the change within everyone, as if they know something is coming, something bad. Lavender wants to keep her kingdom safe, just like all dragons do, but she also wants to keep everyone connected and stop them from being torn apart. Will she be able to fix the ties that brought the RainWing's and NightWing's together? Or will they be split apart and she'll be stuck between torn sides. ------------------------ The Wings of Fire series is written by Tui T. Sutherland and this is just a fan-fiction based off of her series. No characters within this book are from the cannon books and it doesn't follow the cannon timeline. Color: A light cyan (almost like Albatross') light grey underbelly, pitch white luminescent scales. Ocean blue eyes, tip of tail and legs are a fade from a darkish cyan to light. Age (Human years): 15 Occupation: Princess / Animus Accessories: 2 pearl white rings on her horns, pearl white armband with certain gems (skyfire.. etc). Description: Aqua is clever, stubborn and smart, she can defend for herself just fine and is rude to certain dragons, unlike some royal dragonets that want everything and all the attention, she is way different, she hates being at home in the palace, she likes exploring and being on her own, the forest is her second home, she has a secret den at the top of a mountain with a rushing waterfall beside it, she usually goes there to get away from home and River, the SeaWing she's supposed to get married to, but she doesn't even like him, he's obsessed with her and thinks he can't make any mistakes with her. .: Silver'Tear :. Tribe: NightWings (Non Hybrid) Color: Pitch black with shades of grey on his underscales, silver scale next to his grey eyes. Some light shades of silver on him. Age (Human years): 17 Occupation: Assassin Description: Silver is stubborn, rude, and doesn't open much about himself. He's a professional assassin and does most killing in the dark, he's a mix of a Bounty Hunter and assassin, he'll kill his target but won't accept money from it. He can be soft and kind at times but those are mainly only to people he trusts, he wears 2 silver horn rings and they have an unknown power. Not much is known about him, but when most dragons ask who/how someone died they usually know their answer.. Wings of Fire: Lemming's Story
NOTE: The following is a fanfiction inspired by Tui T Sutherland's "Wings of Fire" saga. "Wings of Fire" does not belong to me, and much of the material included in this story is fanon, not canon, though several canon characters will be making appearances throughout the story. Taking place during the events of "Book 1: The Dragonet Prophesy" and the War of SandWing Succession, this is the story of Lemming. Lemming is a young IceWing of middle class rank, who has been a loyal soldier on Blaze's side in the war for a couple years. She's small for an IceWing of her age, but has been able to use this to her advantage to become a successful soldier and survive in the war. However, after a battle takes a turn for the worse, Lemming is left as one of the few survivors and imprisoned in the SkyWing arena. This new world is more brutal than the battles she'd fought in the war, and the SkyWings don't kill for necessity -they kill for entertainment. Can Lemming survive in this new kill or be killed world, or will she be just another body to be swept from the arena sand? NOTE 2: Some of the wording and phrasing of Pt4 comes straight from "The Dragonet Prophesy". That wording was created by Tui T. Sutherland, not me, though I am using it for descriptive purposes in those specific scenes, which first appeared in "The Dragonet Prophesy". All chapter cover artwork made and designed by me.
