Damian is often thought of differently. He is different. Just not in the way they think. Not only was he raised by assassins, but his mother's side of the family had magic run deep in its culture. She dreamt about her and could feel the connection she had to Raven. That was all she knew though, everything else was lost, even her name. So she watches the Titans and waits for her chance to tell Raven. When Slade makes a move to take Raven she can't hide anymore. The sisters unite but as they bond something terrible happens and they only have a short window to fix it. Raven and her will have to dig into her forgotten past to find the answers they need. Will they be able to before their time runs out?

Just another story about Damian and Raven's relationship to satisfy the hungry reader. Raven is friends with everyone in the Titan's she just prefers keeping her emotions in check compared to everyone else on the team. Her relationship with everyone is different, but her relationship with Damian is her strongest. Raven has a different connection with Damian, and she bestows the most trust in Damian. She struggles with everything, but mainly her father Trigon. She must find strength and hope in order to keep him from destroying the planet and countless lives. Can she do it with the help of Damian or must she have hope on her own? In this book you will hear about the titans as a whole team fighting crime and protecting the city but also some small side stories between the characters.
