Jimmy Schwimmer is newly joined forensic expert in the Los Angeles Police Department. At first everything was quiet and normal in the city but slowly crime rate started picking up. One by one people disappeared and were killed and the LAPD has no clue about what is going on. Who is behind this? Are all these killings related? Can the police department find out what is happening in the city?

In 1960s Los Angeles, an actor, Bryan Benét, known for his roles as a detective in Agatha Christie films, was murdered during an apparent home invasion. Detective Jim Braun, known for solving the Murder of Marilyn Monroe, has been called onto the case by the LAPD. There are five suspects who've been identified as the last to see Bryan alive. There's Jackie (The wife), Christine (The mother), Benjamin (The brother), Thomas (The assistant), and Bernard (The father). After interviewing them all one by one, Braun realizes all of his suspects believe it is someone else, and they all have alibis. Realizing this may be his hardest case yet, Braun gets to work.
