I'm working on my writing skills. don't judge me if it goes by extremely fast. Faith's parents have abused her all her life. All this changes when they are put in jail for child abuse, and murder. Murder, because they killed Faith's twin sister Hope six years ago. Faith saw her sister murdered in front of her when she was ten years old. If you like depressing stories, try this. If it's a failure, let me know. And please remember that I tried. If you like it, PLEASE comment to say so. I don't really know what votes are, so if someone could explain, that would be great. "Actually I do. I'm working", I said with no emotion at all. They didn't deserve it. They don't get to know how I have felt through the years without them, I'm happy here. "Nope, your coming out to dinner away from this dump with your brothers and father", He said whilst looking around in discust. I rolled my eyes at him which he looked pretty shocked at. She now lives alone, in a dangerous and dirty neighbourhood, but she doesn't care, as long as she is far away from those she is suppose to call family. But when they all turn up for Christmas, hoping for happy times and warm hugs, she is instilled with fear and pure anger. Will she accept them, or will they stop trying? Xalune - Echoes from the past
In a dystopian world, where the strongest prevails, having peace is a luxury. Especially when someone from the past is out to destroy everything we have built up over the past 15 years. And with Christmas approaching, our group get to face ten hellish days. Preview: In his fury, the chains have rubbed his wrists and neck raw, despite me trying to calm him down. He suddenly calms down when the screams in the cell next to us switch to the sound of bones breaking. Now he sits with foam on his lips and his eyes wide, looking that way. After ten minutes, the sounds of the boys in our cell have died down, and we all look at the wall that separates us from the crackling of the breaking bones. And then suddenly all is quiet. After a few silent minutes, our cell door opens slowly. From the ball of light from the ceiling, the little girl in the doorway is illuminated. She is completely covered in blood and doesn't move. Then she opens her eyes and carefully walks towards us. And despite everything, my first impulse is to crawl backwards, away from the unnatural calm radiating from her. ------------- After reading yet another great older brothers/younger sister story, where the family gets reunited after years of separation, the sister keeps the secret that she was abused and assaulted all along, and the brothers conceal their work in the mafia, I decided to give it also a try. The output of my story was initially to turn this around with openness and unconditional support and the torture should happen right in front of their very eyes. Because no story is complete without the (un)necessary bloodshed, action, humour and, of course, a bad guy. And who knows, to throw everything completely upside down, the main character may not survive. I won't write warnings above each chapter, because most of them contain violence, blood, torture, etc. Constructive criticism is welcome. Ow, and English is not my first, second or third language. So if I mess up somewhere, let me know!

Hope has always expected the worst when it comes to people. Although who could blame her? Since she was about the age of five Hope and her brother Gavin have been in foster care. They never knew their father. Before they were born he had left their mother to be a teen mom on her own. As for their mother to them, she was the most wonderful and caring person they knew. To everyone else she was A depressed mother that had spent more time on drugs than off of them. She cared about her kids she really did, she just didn't know how to handle them. Hope has always been there for her little brother. She hides all of her problems and focuses on her twin brother making sure that he is always happy and dosent know about her problems, because honestly at this rate shes turning into their mom.
