"Technology advances everyday, one day Technology will control us" Holland Walker is scheduled for her implantation, the implantation of her chip. Every teenager has it implanted on there sixteenth birthday. The chip connect to your brain and sends you a signal for when you are near your soul mate. It can be a noice or maybe a taste in your mouth. Everyone has a certain way of knowing. Holland goes into her operation, everything goes as planned, but what happens when she notices there is a glitch? A glitch on her chip. The chip that is supposed to tell her her soul mate.. the love of her life. She's a glitched, something that nobody wants to be.

The day of everyone's lives where they're supposed to have had their tattoo already. Now, 5 years after the disappointment of not receiving one, Louis has completely given up on ever finding someone. He's given up on ever getting a tattoo, on ever finding a soul mate, and on ever being loved. Until he meets Kealleigh a month after her 18th birthday. (This is a short story. I had this idea for a while but it was so interesting not knowing what the other person would write instead of writing both sides for myself.
