Welcome To Harlequinn

Cynthialexis comes home from college and finds a cylindrical metal case left on the wall outside her house. She takes it inside to examine it and, after finding no significant use for the case, leaves it on her desk. --- After a week or so, having forgotten about the case, Cynthialexis wakes up one morning to find the case under her pillow. When she pulls it out to see if anything was in it, she finds a picture fitted into the circular shape of the metal case that looks like some sort of fantasy world. --- Cynthialexis drops the lid and base of the case on the floor and her floor falls away, bit by bit. But, within seconds, her surroundings had returned back to normal. --- Confused and tired after just waking up, Cynthialexis walks to her door and turned the handle. The door swings open with a creak and the view of a wooden landing and staircase comes into sight. Cynthia looks around and eventually plucks up the courage to go and find out who the chattering from downstairs was coming from. --- But that's the odd bit. When she turned and entered the kitchen, at the table sat; a man dressed like he'd just appeared from the 1800s; an anthropomorphised fox; a bickering pigeon; an abnormally large purple, blue, and silver calico cat; and a friendly red python. --- "Who are you?" The confused Cynthialexis asked.
