The mask is only a child but was forced to adjust to this devastated world all on their own. With no one to trust and everyone trying to take advantage or kill her how else was she going to survive without turning into a feral monster with only one thought consuming her entire existence. "I must live." Now she has more than just her life to plague her thoughts. Now she has something to protect, a place to come home to and family to share it with, and she'll do anything to keep them safe.
