The Rejected Luna

I woke up to sunlight streaming in through the windows. I tried to move only to wince in pain. I was sore down there from last night. I smiled thinking about last night, it was perfect. I looked over at Hunter who was still asleep. I sat up, with little protest from down there and got up to get dressed. As I was getting out of bed Hunter groaned next to me.

"Morning." I said as I was slipping my undergarments on.

"Morning." He said a little distressed. "Wait did we..." he trailed off.

I was a little confused. "Yeah we did, whats the issue?"

"Fuck" He groaned while he flopped back down on the bed, rubbing his hands over his face.

"What?" I was starting to get concerned.

"This wasn't supposed to happen. This was a mistake." He said, sitting up again.

"Why was this a mistake?" I said, upset that he called us a mistake.

"I didn't want to meet you yet, I want to be free not tied down by some mate. I mean you were a good one night stand. I just don't think you would be a good Luna." My heart broke when he said that. "You're not pretty enough, just some scum that was lucky enough to be able to sleep with me last night." My heart officially shattered into a million pieces. I started to get teary, but I didn't want to cry. But his next words broke the dam holding my tears in. "I, future Alpha Hunter Black, reject you, Ashlynn King, to be mate and future Luna."
