Dallon's a twenty-three year old college student studying to be an astronomer. He lives in the depths of Black Hollows, an unknown, dreary town. His best friend, Spencer Smith, owns a slammer, where he meets a mystery waiter with a cute smile. This mystery waiter may be this student's first mistake; and first name.
Brendon's fallen in love too many times, and his wrists couldn't be any fuller with names of people he'd rather forget. Ready to make a new start, he ditches his past as a magazine model, and heads for the silent streets of Black Hollows to be a part time photographer for the city council, and newspaper. Though claiming he doesn't love anymore, something new and exciting stirs in his belly each time his lips find Dallon's.
Amazed by Brendon's unreal beauty, and vice versa, the two take a shot at a relationship. Despite the stereotypical Spencer disagreeing and saying they're no good for each other. But each kiss feels like a first for Dallon, and he finds it hard to stay away from the boy, who seems to like to make him cry.
Brendon is 17, Dallon is 26. When Brendon Urie comes out to his parents he finds that no one wants anything to do with him except the guy who took him home from the bar. How will Mr. Weekes react when he finds out Brendon was underage and he is the new kid in the math class he teaches.
