17 year old Zuri "Z" Sorrano can see auras, the color cloud surrounding our bodies that tells how we're feeling. The only people who knows is her best friend and her family.

Despite feeling like a weirdo because of her peculiar abilities, Zuri's life was going pretty good. But on July 5, her world crumbled when she received the news of the car crash that killed her parents. Now she has to move to the other side of the country to live with her estranged Aunt Katherine in Ravenwell, California. It's here that she meets Jaelyn.

Jaelyn is the resident bad boy. He's drop dead gorgeous and makes Zuri's knees weak, that is until he opens his mouth, then she wants to punch him in it. There are a lot of rumors going around that him and his twin sister are witches. Not to mention Z can't see their auras.

Soon Z finds out there might be some truth to the rumors going around and that her parent's death might not have been an accident. Z is determined to find out who would want her parents dead and why.
