After Haru and Makoto leave for college, Rei starts dating a girl named Hanae. Nagisa gets jealous of this because he has loved his best friend from the start. This girl was getting in the way of his and Rei's relationship, not spending as much time together as they use to before. Then Nagisa decides to kill this girl. After Hanae's death, Nagisa enjoyed killing so much anyone who talked or even looked at Rei was a dead man/woman. Nagisa almost gets away with killing more than 15 students before Rei catches him in the act of killing his 16th victim
